realy realy nice minimal trip.. But imo this track with a decent kick would be a BOM... Don't like the kickdrum at all .. it reminds me so much of the original FL kick (in the old days) So many cool minimal elements, a bit shame of that kick.. imo Maybe its worth changing it, maybe you and other people like it the way it is... overall nice . thumbs up + save
thanks for the comment, it's indeed the original fl kick, with some distortion on it. I'll go on a 'queeste' to see if i can find a better kick
nice minimal, but horrible kick :s don't go distorted-beat in such a mnmltrack. use a deep clicky beat instead ;) for the rest i really like it, very nice soundscaping!
If I had a hat, I'd take it off for this one. I know you still want to put a lot of work in this track, but whatever you do, don't touch the mix and mastering. It's exactly how it should be. I don't have any problem with the kick either. It's not your average minimal beat, but who needs average, right? I wouldn't change it. It might affect the atmosphere of the entire track. Quality shit essé... Grtz
thanks for the comments! I'll try another kick and going to change some more stuff, depends on how it works out if I post it again... And Jokke, If you want to, I can allways borrow you a hi-hat to take of...
@ redvade, after long time not hearing this, and with decent monitors, i have to say you were absolutly wright, indeed a horrible kick :-) gonna change it as soon as i find/still have the files... grtz
