This track I made for someone who asked me if I could make a track that fits Géricaults paiting 'The raft of Medusa'... The story after the painting is a boat that crashed and didn't get any help from the autoroties from some country (don't know which one anymore) because the people on the boat where unwanted for some kind of reason. What they didn't know was that some people survived the crash and where floathing around in open sea, these people reached land after almost two weeks and told their story that caused a great scandal. So in this track I focused at the moment they where floathing around in open sea for some days, while getting delirious and losing almost all hope... Enjoy!
I think those people floathing round must gone crazy, listening to the sound. Still nice track! (not really minimal i think, more like acid...)
nice! reminds me of some older afx stuff (again). The melody and it's timing can use some more variation imho.. grtz
wow, very nice atmosphere. fit's totally with the idea of floating in sea. nice delirious synths. but mind the mixing: your mid-tones (synths) are a bit too loud compared to the bass-parts. also, try to add a subtle baseline; here and there some deep notes to make it more moving
Great track with a lot of feel to it!After a lot of listening I might have to agree with Firefrog though... When you crank the volume up you can hear the main synth is a little too loud in comparison to the rest. But at around 2 minutes, it's the other way around. But don't change anything else... I think it's your best track. Keep it up! Gtz
