Again, a track made shortly after I discovered that I could plug guitars into my pc and record them real time. The track is made entirely of processed guitar. A cheap electro-acoustic folk guitar was used for the returning chords . Another electronic guitar was used for improvisation over the chords. I am aware that it is maybe slightly too long, but it was a one take improvisation and there are some great moments in it, I think. And I can't really be bothered to re-record this into perfection (also because I am not really a technically great guitar player!) Anyways, the idea was to play the guitar in a somewhat subtle and special way, and not to use fancy guitar licks etc... , hence the title "oud & moe". as it was my goal to make the guitar sound as if it was "old & tired". Also, not too sure about the genre but I'll place it under ambient which is probably close...
nice man, i feel the oud en moe but in totale i think this sounds pretty fresh too, kind of contradicting ;)
I love it man! Although I usually don't like ambient and drone with processed guitar layers, this one has a totally different feel :)
