I just listened to the three songs you have posted so far and I preferred this one. As for summer and countdown, I'd use a little bit more variation. (although than it isnt ambient anymore:D) E.g. copy the original sequence several times, alter them slightly and play with the order in which they appear.
very fin-de-siecle. don't know what to think of it. part of me likes it, and another part doesn't, and i can't tell you why. so there you go.
