this is real dub, just the way I love it , very low bass ,piano ,a skankin guitar, rhythm and a load of echo, also a siren vsti to give a live feeling , some samples like: vocals and melodica are from "jah shaka" enjoy jah all mighty :p
I'm a bit troubled with the melodica, although it fits nicely, it makes the track look too much like the original version. also, the way your beat starts, is not completely to my taste (to up tempo, not really dubby) nicely produced though, siren is cool
where did you get that vst that gives your song a vinyl-sound? it is fucking awesome! it gives your song a nice, warm coozy atmo. very cool, shaka's samples completes your riddim. Jah Bless!
that oldskool feeling gives it a real charisma....can see the old ghetto people with a load of smoke above their heads...
hmm yes. I wanted to create a really pumping dub track. nice to encounter someone that actually knows the original ;)
about the mastering: i wanted to make it feel like a record, old skool vinyl, to do that i used a vst (izotope vinyl) to create that gritty feel, it also adds litlle scratches and dust to the channel(s) :D
cool one! could be mastered better though, but still, i like it :p greets
yep cool man.sounds totaly like old recording.but that's probably because the samples come from old records :)
