this is what bad weather during summer produces.. more time indoors, pushing the old pc a bit further, testing some new plug-ins. there are simple melody-patterns and braintickling rhythms. my first track in the idm-section, i think it's in the right place here.
this is a piece of art ;-) you always have such a cool vibe in your tracks... unique here on ebel I think. thumbs up!!
the only existing sample here was the vocal and i don't have a mic or good soundcard to record quality. btw.not a single loop was used in here. other samples are single notes and clicks i cut and manipulate (so the source exists, but the sound you here doesn't). a lot of the rhythm sounds here are coming from white noise anyway. even the background "synth" is vocoded whitenoise :) and using a real synth to play melodies isn't always better than sampling a single note and playing with it (at least in my case). i guess it's just my way of doing it now.. ;)
nope :) funny you're hearing that in there.. except for the rhodes-key, none of the original samples are recognizable. oh, and the vocal is a piece of "indeep - last night a dj saved my life" (acapella) :)

hmhmh just a little question ... why are u always using loops and existing samples ? wouldn't it even be better if it was homemade ? :)
