nothingness through purple glasses

a hye volture medley. three parts: nihilistic neurojazz+silly samba+electronic metal. this gives my conception of nu-jazz or jazz, a genre I don't really know well, but everyone puts on purple glasses from time to time I guess. think tom en jerry music a la hye volture, that would be the perfect description. samples from the fast show (one of my favourites!).
wow nice! really like the part around 1.24 groovy trumpets, but perhaps a bit too much reverb on the trompets? correct me if i'm wrong. the overal sounds nice, good structure, melo's and now suddenly the unexpected but very appreciated climax, i'm feeling it (: ! thumbs up!
problem with the trumpet was finding a good point between reverb and cheapness (those vsts really sound cheap without effects). for me this sounded the best (I just checked it one more time and indeed, with dryer reverb it sounds really a bit too keyboardachtig). thnx for the comment!
A bit weird but hey, hyevolture is always a bit weird But personally this one's not completely mijnen cup. Stukske vanaf 3:30 is wel lekker funky en hooray for bit reduction en the fast show ^^

hehe pretty weird yes, not my kind of nujazz nevertheless some cool elements in there , the last part rocks interesting jazz interpretation
volgens mij hoorde gij da muziekske als ge nadenkt in u hoofd spelen, ervo style if you wish :p kvinnet echt vet, vree bizarre sfeer, ma vree goe in elkaar gestoken vinnek doe mij ergens ook wel denken aan die oude batman tunes ^^ u samples zijn mooi geintegreerd, iets waar ik wel wa last mee heb, dus good job :) fucking massive bomb of an experiment. en hoe langer da hier doorgaat hoe meer ik zit te shaken :D vette noizy outro all hail jazzy volture ;)
yes, it's a nice vision of nu-jazz very good too long but only for my taste..... :))
