July was my holiday-month, so now I'm back in the game. Worked some more on old unfinished songs, started some new ones, but yesterday I suddenly had an urge to make some ambient. wavestation/guitar rig/ableton m83-like sound at the end was not intended, it just came by. This came out. gave it some rest, until the sound fitted my mood. Now it sounds a bit like I like this kind of music: a bit harsch, lots of unexpected twists, but healing. "lighthouse, heal our souls" is the translation. lost at sea, ready to drown, untill that strange, somewhat frightening light in the distance saves you and heals you.
spooky intro beestige twists en evolutie, petje af snare wordt mss wa teveel verdrongen, ma langs de andere kant is dienen volle sounds ook wel charmevol, kzal nog paar keer opnieuw moeten luisteren ;) die scheurende postrockgitaarachtige melo's zijn vingerlikkend goe, krijg er nie genoeg van :))
amai volture wa hebt gij gegeten die dag, tmoet zeker krachtvoeding geweest zijn coolen intro, coole watdaarallemaalopvolgt goeie geluiden! sfeer bevalt mij helemaal van deus-on-a-drowsy-sundaymorning naar m83-feesten-in-den-avond dumbub!
VRIE vet, nice track, reminds me a bit of M83 I'd let the drums go more steady (snare in centre instead of just a bit later in the 2nd loop) and some more variation and extra percussion as the song evolvs wouldn't hurt either you made a lot of progression you nice track!
nothing wrong with this track for my concern. very nice post-rockbient piece!!!

i wouldn't call it ambient, but hey, let's NOT discuss hokjes en vakskes :p. very instrumental feeling, esp your beat is very powerful. "(veel fysica enal, kbedoel: amplitudes etc, halloooooo....)." ==> schitterend
ja allo, wa is da ier moat :p sounds like a psychedlic kermis-ervaring int begin..Daarna very ! nice buildup, schonen wall of sound i laaik, mocht mss zelfs nog ietske langer. just: hebt ge compressor gebruikt ofzo? khoor gelijk zo vreemde schokken kort achter de kicks; kan ook aan mij liggen, tis alleszins maar een zot detail
ja, ma t ligt precies ni daaraan, enfin, de schokken (als ge ze al ver hoort) mogen blijven voorlopig :D tis een goeie manier van beats er goe te laten doorkomen, ma dan drukken ze idd wel voor even de rest weg (ratio-gewijs). de theorie achter compressie vind ik ook altijd een klein beetje te saai in feite om me er deftig achter te zetten (veel fysica enal, kbedoel: amplitudes etc, halloooooo....). tis ni dak er ook niks over weet, ma de refinements zijn voor de toekomst.
