a pretty old one. I started this end 2007, worked a lot on this april last year, but never ended this. now in between I put some things together to finally finish this one. couldn't make the whole thing clean (was the reason why I never finished it), but gave it my best shot during a lousy afternoon to make something out of it. "dainichi" means "the big sun" or "the universe". this song is about the sun, source of everything. it's a pre-socratic ode to our universal mother. I sing a song about you. real nice song like the showgase about it... breaks are also realy nicely done imo not to found of the synth that drops in around 2.00 (its sound) overpowering part is realy nice as well not uberfound of the part after 5.40... it sounds maybe a bit to kitch maybe main instrument a bit quieter (so its more one big sound like before... afterlude is nice^^ so, pretty long coment.. hope you can relate to it thumb up I realy enjoyed listening to it
skip laat es wa complimenten over kweet niemeer wa ik moet zeggen ;) nee ma great song dude! surprising even, real nice melodies, atmosphere and structure rock solid convincing stuff. also agree with omyiga your best one with vocals and as the rest says mind your mix, could be my only remark
kben aant twijfelen om het te benedenladen, mss voorlopig tot er een nieuwe versie is ofzo, kvinnet echt berecool nr, idd de meerdere lagen zang geven het echt wel een chino gevoeltje. en das nooit slecht wa :) vette details ook. mix laat idd soms is steekske vallen, ma ik moe nie spreken, en derbij, 2sec later ist weer helemaal vergeten, mij stoort het nie willek dus zeggen ^^ (jaja piramidekes) zoals gezegd, kzou het einde wa laten uitfaden, of op het allerlaatste een overdreven (niet te natuurlijk) echo zetten, die nog wa doorgalmt als het nummer eigenlijk fini is. just my cheap ass solutions :p neeja, neem vooral u tijd, tegen de klok werken is frustrerend. best te vermeiden u intro is echt wel zot dromerig, schone pads enzo. enige wa mij wa "stoort" rond 1min is zo da mug-achtig hoge toontje, ma das weer muggezifterij he (haha) bon, geen zin meer om nog meer te typen, kweet ook niets meer te zeggen. cheeri-o's btw, kvin u drum onder u zang echt vet, geeft er nog meer zo'n postrockig gevoel aan
less verb on your voice and make it louder, add some high freq on it, not to much, some more treble to cut thru. deff make your voice the loudest in the mix. yohoohoo good singing and song^^
not really my thing, but it's a verry good composition and it's cool how it evolves in some different directions... nice vocalwork
nice one qua gezang peisk één van u beste toch wel, met die 2e stem enal. klinkt pro en melogewise ook very good. Do I smell daar deftones/metal influences? And nice outro but like skip says, nog a bit abrupt thumbb
ja vet ze kerel verry nice twist at 01:00 verry nice harmonys and buildups verry nice use of your voice twice at same time! meer van dees verry nice combinations of elements verry nice storytelling touch verry filled track man, hat to that (chapeau) 05:33,juust before that mood-twist I would add something fading in,to lower the suddenness of that counter melody,its a bit too sudden gewoon imo. And at the verry end maybe do a fade out or something, or end with a reverb on the last note. bout the mastering, yup,what Idd try is to lower some of the mid/high frequencies,should check for yourself which are best to decrease...but in a track like this it should be verry difficult to be happy with the changes all along the track. Totally doing your thing full of expressions, respect.
ok wreed bedankt voor de tips, kga er iets aan doen! backing vocals idee kreeg ik toen ik in een documentaire over nevermind van nirvana butch vig al zijn techniekskes hoorde uitleggen.
