a sweet melancholic song. I started from a beat pattern based on particle's spastic cello orchestra (one of the shortest effective songs on ebel). after that I totally left the copycat-ism and did my own thing with it: many variations on the beat pattern, a lot of ghost snares, lots of effects, reverb-vocal things like whispering and moaning. creating a cold melancholic atmosphere. just sit back and relax and let some emotions come to you, if possible. title must say something about big and hard explosions versus subtle but strong negative moods: an avalanche can kill and destroy, but the coldness of someone can be even worse.
I like the reverbed stuff dikke thumb for the atmosphere and melos. lekker sweet and dreamy, the way I like it ^^

thnx a lot. I only see this as a metamorphosis where I try a new genre. beatwise it's much faster than usual. melodywise this one is rather simple. so: no complete metamorphosis, maybe only for those who like this genre more than the other genres I tried (I think).
really nice, love the atmo and vibe. and beats really cool too :), maybe the ending is a bit long, but what about those tiny details ;)
hehe, if you hadn't told me this was comming i would have been utterly amazed ;) i know it's a personal issue i got with electro, but i really like your idm style more then your electro. and knowing your musicflavours i was expecting a piece like this sooner or later. only one point of geneut: dien outro mocht wa korter van mij, khoopte dat er nog een uptempo blast kwam na 5.40 (cfr da wispnummer waar ik zot van ben, clipian), ma tblijft zo wa aanzwengelen. voor de rest nieten dan goeds in mijn gedachten. was a bit annoyed by the windlike pad at first, but afterall it fits the whole very well. kan mij vergissen, ma hoor ik hier en daar zo wa minimale overlapping? u weet wel, nog over bezig gezeten vandeweek... bon kweet nie meer wa leuteren... ... nice melodietje btw ... downloaded ;) ... cheerio
