So, been a while since I've uploaded anything; mostly because there wasn't much of an electronic element to be found.. but then this track: Not finished yet, so I'd like some feedback. There are two basic themes that I've mashed up a bit, so there's one thing I'd like to hear about: how are the transitions? second: what about the beats.. I feel like they could use some variation, but I'm not really sure about this. Beats aren't my cup of tea, as to say.. ;) any general comments are of course also appreciated :) btw, check out my new website if you've got the time: www.kevindecock.be

yeah the breaks could be a littl bit more dynamic and more punchy too; sounds more like an electronica experiment too me :p the melo's are alleszins wel nice but I'd personally like more breaks; like the ones you put tussendoor af en toe but yeah you're probably not going to go further with dnb anyway so I say cool experiment, voila :-)
I see :D Well never been good at naming genres anyway.. doesn't matter that much in my opinion :) more breaks, more punch: I can agree. However, I'm don't want it to become too wild and everything, cuz I'll probably let it transfer into another song that's a lot less active. It'll be a question of wholism or however you call that :). and you're right, dnb is not gonna be my main genre anyhow. I do want to keep some elements of it integrated in my music, but the main 'red line' will always be interweaved melodies, Oldfield-style =). thanx for the feedback!
