my first idm-ish attempt to create some dreamy reality that runs in slow-motion hope you like... or dislike... i dont know... just interessted in what you guys think about it.. hope you enjoy it a bit cheers
Yio Grim good (imo) but theres alot of insecurity in this track,in the mood I mean.Verry "grey". I would try to add an element for a low melody,now you have the low padz, but they are verry static,(not much melody-movement) so one extra element for melody might bring some spark to the whole piece(and you alreaddy have the main high-melody,so adding a low one would fit I think),but that might not be the intention in this track. It misses some specialness (?) otherwise,nice attempt, and looking forward to other attempts.
Ni sjlech ;-) Nice synths in the second part, it's clear you are largely influenced by ambient and that's painted all over the track. But good job!
@ rabauw: thx dude :) and you are right actually, i actually intended to maintain my ambient influences. trying to work on a own sound :) @ skip: i must agree with what you are saying about the "specialness" and with the low pads+melo. after reading your comment i worked on it, but evetually decided to keep it this way. for me this track was mainly about the percussion and to work on my slice-sampling-... techniques for the perc. thx for the comments dudes!
