euh... very personal track...very personal actually :s its far from finished: -i'm not happy about the mastering...yet...(again the clipping, but this time its on the guitar, dont see any red alarms yelling at me that there's clipping but i can hear them, lets see what you guys say cause maybe its just my crappy installation) -i still wanna work on the structure cause i have tons of ideas for this one but i dont wanna push it to much, wanna keep a very quiet atmo with lots of emotions -there is still a voice sample missing: still have to find somebody with a good voice :) anyway, this one is also a bit to celebrate the fact that i finnaly got my external soundcard, so intruments used: microkorg for the deep pad and my guitar for the melody and some drumkit from live for the percussion i gues the biggest thing thats bothering me in this track is the guitar; like i said: tons of ideas but not wanting to push it... anyway...i hope you enjoy and comments are more than welcome cheers!
you should really try to fix your clipping problems cuz behind al the crakles I hear something very cool and sfeervol. But now it's very hard to enjoy it ;p Kzie da ge ook ableton gebruikt; mss zit het probleem ergens bij uw sample rate of latency instellingen? Kheb gelijk ook al zoiets gehad en dan lag het daaraan
I would try to add yet another melodic level ,to broaden the harmony ceated. (make shure you have the latest drivers for soundcard, and asio(latest asio4all) driver if needed. also the higher the buffersize the less clippings,but the more latency you'll have. really enjoy this type of miuze. minor would be the maybe too simple melodies imho. real nice piece though.good luck
hey thx guys :) i'm learning a lot lately, i love it :p i took a look at my settings an screwed around with it, it sounded ok just now, so that's one thing :) for the melodies: i know their pretty simple, but like i said: tons of idea and but not wanting to push them to much :) i'll have a go at it right away :)
