QUIZZ : the word "sloup toot" comes from a famous comic strip...wich one? about the song...well its one of my favorites so far. i like the drums and the bass. so i guess its what i can call good drum and bass. i also tried to blend a little techno and halfstep vibes in it. the result is interresting!
Your downmix is not all that imo... Your kick is power+bodyless, and hardly audible, your snare has the same problem, your hihats are to thinm and are missing some mids + they are gonna be painfull (to much ultra high freqs...) Also your bass needs sculpturing, there is no sub in it, which also makes it empty. Damn, I sound so negative. Sorry about that. I think the idea might work, but everything needs more body, better EQing, and a proper place in the mix.
