So, what is you favorite type of music? Favorite artist, favorite pieces of music, favorite album...

Yeah, every music forum NEEDS a thread like this!

"music is to put the soul onto the rhythm"

Let me put it this way,

If it is music, then there is rhtym. Rhtym does not have to be danceble, or structural at all, at the moment the soul is set on the rhythm, the rhythm can go anywhere it wants.

Great example, Jazz, where does the rhythm go in that type of music, sometimes it appears to have no rhythm, but, there IS rhythm.

But what is your favorite music?

You are right, it has to have that unexplaineble part...

The soul, the artisticity, the expression of mankind, emotion, whatever you want to call it, put that on the rhythm and that is my fundamental view on music.

Why not? It's actually a big question. what is music. You could say all audio made by human can be named music if intended so. But I don't think it works that way. Can everybody call the sounds they make music?

I do no a lot of soulless music.... called music by makers and list'ners. Music without expression of mankind and even emotion.
