We have been discussing on real-time internet collaboration tools on the wall yesterday.
Appearently there are websites and even plugh-ins permitting real-time collaboration or Live-sets through the internet.
Please share you knowledge and experiences so that anyone can take profit out of this!
Ps:Degiheugi said yesterday that he once read about a tool to make Reason real-time collabos... does anyone know anything about this?
I found this on Keyboard magazine... but I think it's very expensive!

A lot of things have promised real-time musical collaboration over the internet, but we haven’t seen anything that’s consistent, easy to use, and truly fun… until now. A subscription ($19.95 per month, $100 for six months) offers 24/7 access to jammers all over the world, and all you need are any instrument than can output MIDI and a broadband connection. We know, “What about latency?” It’s shockingly low, and the software removes out-of-sync notes from playbacks of sessions.
"If it is possible to make virtual war by multi-player games it should be possible (and of course much more creative) to produce virtual music by a multi-user instrument. And: If it is possible to share files thru a p2p network it should be possible to share live played musical gestures in the same way.
So, welcome to the world's first p2p multi-user network synthesizer peerSynth! Welcome to a new development of büro the author of the famous granular synth crusherX-Live!. Hear the connection!"

i had make a collaboration with a canadian by acid's files and on shots samples ...and i think it can be a good thing if the associates producers waits until the other is finished his part of the work to begin his !
i share my experiment of this working way because we had problems at the beginine to our colabaration !
...but if each one adopts a policy to work it can be a really good working way !! and i dont think peersynth can be the only GOOD solution !! FUCK IT'S EXPENSIV !!!!
I named peersynth not because I support it...(I don't even work on vst's) but coz it was one of the only things I found!
;)
