E-MU 1616 / 1616M
Help neededHi I am planning to buy the EMU 1616 or 1616M with pcmcia-card for my laptop. Someone here has experience with these or are there any techheads that can tell me something? :) Thanks 8)

Really good choice my friend, I've a 1616M for laptop, and it's perfect for what i do ( midi, mutlichannels recording, asio, ...). The drivers in the package are good, no need to download something on the web and the E-mu patch mix DSP ( mixer) is excellent...
Oh and those magnificients "VST"effects including in the package, mmmmmmmmmmm.
