I've bought ableton last year and people who work with ableton know that there are two screens you can use with tab. I mean when u use ableton and press tab u can switch between the mixer and another screen When i'm in 'mixer'mode i can press the "rec"button in every track Normally when i press tab you can do the same things but then in the right corner of your screen. Now recently these options are not available in the other screen mode like "rec, track on/off etc..." So my problem is that i only can use these options in "mixer"mode Does anyone know how to get these options back in the other mode?

strange... it's not 'cause you minimzed the tracks too much by dragging up and down?

if i understand what u are saying your solution is a tiny black button on the right corner of your ableton screen like 'R' or w/e press that small button and your record buttons will return

(the button you're looking for should be 'm' , but im on 1600x1200 so they are kinda hard to read =))

when you're in the arrangement view press ctrl+alt+m... [in windows] this hides/shows the mixer section. or go to the "menu -> view" you can select which parts to be visble....
