**PAINTING IN LANDSCAPES **
an audiovisual compilation by QuiOui and Cloudhopper in joint effort with Electrobel
MUSIC
*allowed musical styles : ambient/ soundtrack/ smooth electronica/acoustic ...
*allowed artists : creative commons licensed and unlicensed artists
*allowed tracks : previously unpublished tracks and new mixes or
remixes of previously public posted tracks (be it your own or by someone else). We work with a CC licence. Songs may not contain samples that are copyrighted. Only copyleft samples can be used. If you use samples, please state so.
track length limit : about 6 min
ARTWORK/COVER/INLAY/PHOTOGRAPHY
Everyone is allowed to send stuff in,
desired direction: own pictures of landscapes (nature or other sorts) mildly edited think of painting in landscapes.

*for music, inlay, cover : 20 may 2007 *for graphix/video: TBC
!! Submissions. be it music or other art for this compilation should not be posted publically before the endresults.. once the compilation is published also the artists that didn’t make it can post their submissions publically.. be it on electrobel, myspace, deviantart, youtube.. this way we can keep the compilation fresh and a total surprise
VISION
the compilation will be mixed and published in .mp3 soon after the deadline.
and last but not least we would like to invite visual artists to make a visual concept for the mix.
this means that the final result should be a coherent unit of art we are not making a compilation to make a compilation, we are making a compilation that blends different artistic approaches and that could be presented as an auditive film.
if there is enough demand we would consider making a limited physical release of this video-audiomix which would be sold
all in all : musicians.. producers: we want action !.. and visual artists start practicing ^^[/ALIGN]

Anyway, if you like this, i got many many more in this style, never posted on ebel or somwhere else... Is it ok with a frenchie text? Got lot of chill music never released ...

yep just make sure that it is sample cleared. so use own lyrics etc. But if i can give a hint make music that is not definable to one sentiment, make it rich. Cause the visual artist will have to make a coherent image of all of this .. which means no 'direct' musix can be accepted. it has to be fluid and polysentimental in some kind of way so he/she can play around with it.
