wow, then i'm almost 5years on ebel now! djeez, times goes fast... ebel has gone a long way, i can tell you that! many bugfixes, many new features, so many very talented users, and so on, and so on i still have my first songs here on ebel (they're from 2003, but where re-posted in 2004 because back then you couldn't change the mp3 that was linked to your song). just like with many other users, you can really see the evolution in my tracks. this is not only thanks to zark and his ebel (ebel is "just" the medium), but thanks to the users who did great comments (for example c'estqui, who really cared about helping others on the way, but unfortunatly his temper turned ebel against him). i'm talking about very specifix comments, sometimes half a page long, explaining every detail that could be done better in a track. nowadays, you mostly get comments like "whaaa, i love your music, this track rocks!!" or "you track sucks donkyballs!!", which doesn't really help along the process of learning. i know i'm also guilty, the main problem is quantity. in the beginning, i could easily follow all the genres in the muzik-section. but now i can bearely follow the genres i moderate. and even then, it's quite hard to give good feedback; most of the tracks seem all the same :( i hope this can be solved, with maybe the help of the future ebel-meetings? anyway, thanks to zark and ebel, but even more thanks to all you guys! you make it alive here, you are the ebel-community! enough with the preachery, let's throw a big 5years ebel-party! :)) happy ebelday!
