Top songs?

I was wondering the same thing too, what makes it that your song stands in the top 20....

**i think ** it's the number of hits + number of comments + number of thumbz (up/down) + tastes of the administrators of the site. and maybe others reasons...

I ask to myself the same question about the name of the members who appear in the top of the windows of each style of music. exemple, on the noise section my pseudonum is present under the description of this style (and i like that!). why me? some guys are better and do not appear. so, i hope never will change after this thread...

formula was already explained in another thread :)

about the names that appear, it takes the names of artists who already posted in that style and orders it by the most recently connected ... (so you'll see your name most of the time ^^ lol)

It's the number of users that put the song in the +fav section that also counts! Why the many negative votes?

I guess there are users that put a song in the +fav section to show approval, without giving it a thumb up!

Is this wrong i dunno? But it's not a transparent way of showing the approval.

A trial to solve it: Perhaps it's good that users see who clicked their songs in to the +fav section, I dunno?

Besides that, I think the administrators constantly try to figure out the most objective way to rank the songs! Think it's not easy!
