In UK, Drum&bass must not be far to be broadcast
look at http://www.breakbeat.co.uk/album/maximumbass/micro.html
you'll see what I mean..
sorry lovers!!
1/ its Ministry Of Sound 2/ Its not a drum'n'bass compilation. But a Bass sound compilation 3/ Its not the FUTURE of drum'n'bass .. most tracks on there are good 'old' tracks. 4/ It'll make some people hear dnb for the first time ... whats bad about that ? 5/ If you're going to post something about every commercial compilation that features a dnb song ... you're far from finished ...
I discovered drum'n'bass with a almost free Moving Shadow compilation ... they released back in 98 a couple of compilation for something like 5€ .... and that's how i found 'dark' drum'n'bass ...
Besides, in the uk, dnb is already broadcasted on radios .. same here in belgium ..
It's called E v o l u t i o n you can't fight it.
it's already been a couple of years since dnb left the underground ....
It's funny .. when it's underground; people spend time to get people to notice the new sound ... but once it starts going public, then they fight so it stays unknown ...
Hell, i consider dnb to have gone public since they have a special dnb dancefloor at pukkelpop ...
I agree with all that, only thing that disturbs me on that advert is the "pimp" side of it. Good tracks tho to make people discover dnb (vault!).
well
I was cynic posting that. Just to notice the fact more than creating a debat.
this PIMP character is certainly not an evolution !! keep going on in the good mind ;)
