With the enormous success of both previous editions, mekitburn festival is gearing up early this year, working on a complete 'Mekitburn on tour' concept thanks to the hundreds of interested artists in the open stage; The festival will start it's presales in May.
Taking place in a huge domain spanning over 50ha, Mekitburn fills in an ages-old building in old English style, while the camping is on the domain where one can go for a stroll between lakes or even an animal farm. The camping and all side attractions are free of cost, anyway.

There's an extra stage for young talent from the area only, and a small tour for all the people that subscribed to our 'open stage' since we got 352 and only had 3 spots, so now we can give 12 more.
Other than that, can't say I could see where your beef is Elf; If you wanted to play, you could enter, I know there's a lot of people who did and I think some peops from ebel are playing on the tour.
More than open to suggestions for next year's programming, too. Lot of people ask for more core :) Organisations usually get 3-4 hours to fill so there's really plenty of options.
I filled in a very long form in order to get a chance to play here but I never got any response or feedback... that's not very nice :( flyer looks cool though =D dali forever
Probably coz we had more than 400 filled in forms, couple of doubles and spambots, ended up with 352, and Dimitri/weekend starts here already had a hell of a time contacting those to confirm.
We'll probably need something a bit larger and better structured for next year considering the amount of people interested in playing.
