what do u mean? just open an "impulse", put your drumsounds in it and start sequencing with midi... just look around for drumsounds (single-shot) and use them with all the efx or vst u want

it's just that there's only a little banksound in ableton, and it's possible to put only 6 drumsounds in "impulse"... i play with my keyboard, no midi...

<ell, make several midi-channels, all containing an impulse. i never used the ableton drumsounds, i always put my own in an impulse. i use one impuls for the beats, another one for the snare, another one for the hihats, etc etc... so all my drumsounds are divided over my several midi-channels. and to play the drumsounds of an impulse, just route midi-in to that midichannel and u are able to play the drums with your midikeyboard.

btw: how are u planning to play sum drums without midi?? even if u play them with your keyboard, it is still with midi!

i don't have got a real midi keyboard(not as i want)... but i only got 384 SDRAM, if i want play with more channels... it makes bbzzzrrrccchhhffffffff! it's why i expected something like impulse but with more pads!
