live streaming from my laptop
General discussionI have this idea for a while, would be great if I could just stream the output from my laptop sometimes so people could listen to what I'm doing, I have so much music I want people to hear. I know you can make your own internet radio but the one I saw worked with premade playlist etc. I need something streaming live, like Skype or an audio conversation in MSN, someting like that but in better quality and maybe the ability to have more people listening at the same time. Any suggestions?

there s a plugin for winamp to stream your music. don t know the name anymore :)
with the winamp plugin you probably need premade songs for your playlist, I want to stream just the output of my laptop..

but I can't figure out how I can select my output for streaming

maybe you can work around this with a line in plugin? then you select your main mix as input.
