have you checked your buffersize? besides that, check if your cpu-meter isn't in the red. some plugins also tend to give more latency than others
ps: remark form the mod inside me ==> please give a better, more specific title to the tread-topic next time (i've seens so many "ableton"'s or "problem with ableton"'s lately!)
OK, I will do.
I have version 7.03 and 7.0.10 demo and when i use the demo it works good, and my pc is verry strong,so maybe it's teh version 7.03?

Ableton versions should not give any difference a strong PC is not the issue
what you experience = 'latency' (google that) probably you have a bad soundcard
I have a question: Is it possible to embed the wave files you used in your ableton file (the .als file) I find it verschrikkelijk ambetant if you for example made something on one pc and want to continue this project on another pc (or with collabs) If someone knows the answer, it would prevent a looot of problems and frustrations.
file> collect all and save this copies all used samples in a folder

i got a question,
you can assign certain midi controls to ableton using the midi-edit screen right, but is it possible to save those changes that they become your default settings every time you boot Live? i know this isnt a great solution cause those parameters are not fixed to my scene's on my controller: so when i change a scene on my controller, i'm still controlling the previous stuff, so is their like a sheet or something that says what Control Change message ffor ableton refers to wich Control Change message of your controller.
i just got my controller (microkontrol) and i've been i a great battle ever since :s
so anybody that understands my question an d can help me. :d (sorry if i highjacked somebody's thread)
hey grim check out this vid , he explains how to make an ableton template and lots of other cool stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ_2npOAXXA
