Eventsa few months ago me and friend went to something called a laptopjam. in Gent Vooruitkafee
it was well organised, really good with vj stuff also big screens.
only sad thing was there was nobody there i saw like 4 people and 2 of them were like gone after 2 hours or so (musicpeople not the vjs). they had like al this amazing equipment they could easily mix down 20 laptops or so, too bad we could not sync it. the idea was to make like ambient sort of stuff. i think the problem was not much peeps having good laptop with al programs on.
my question is are there people here intrested in such things or even buzzy with it now, i want to know :)
i think it can really be fun if you have like lots a computers or laptops synced (and i can hear you thinking isnt that going to be too chaotic, well yes and no not if you dont want it to be if)
anyway this is just a small example of what YOU can do with music and the power to be with MANY
and the WILL to try and do something innovative
feel free too share your ideas

Yeah, I think eavesdropper invited everyone to that last one. There's been some underground experimental ones in Brussels too. Laptop jams are really easy to organise, it's just the end product that can be a bit too 'busy'.
If you want me to look into it, I can possibly organise one.
yea that would be really cool problem is not much peeps have a laptop and the ones that do have one, are probally doing well and are too proud too come (no offence)
i think it would be more interesting to do a project around it
instead of a laptopjam with no rules and the endproject too busy and more like a dj set,
at the end you havent really achived something
i would like to do something more serious and with a goal and i wonder if other people are intrested too
