your dour 2008
General discussionfinally, did anybody go to the 20th dour festival? it was the mess around big phylosophical discussions about money, drugs and dirt... but don't forget there were also great bands on the bill! i enjoyed many shows like brian jonestown massacre, ez3kiel, birdy nam nam, syd matters,... but the first price goes to the notwist. those guys are just genial! evenmore of playing great music, the "electronic sounds" man controlled all his loops and effects with wii pads. crazy. check this video (for example): http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=VdrydMUhxOM he's on the left (white tshirt). unfortunetly, i've been to tired to stay awake till 1h45 on sunday. shame on me, i missed waxdolls :(

Yeah i went to the Dour 2008 too, It was actually my first time i went on such a big festival. It was delightful, i cant even say which dj's i preferred most.. I remeber Dj Orgasmic, Otto van shiraa& magda that made the floor bouncing like hell, all the way i was so high i cant remember all the names of the good stuff anymore. The best dj was at 4:30 am (sunday) in the club circuit marquee, i dont know no name :( but i flipped out like a crazy bushman when that guy brought his tunes. Roni Size did disappoint me very much, it was live played with singer & band and as we knew how good he could play, we were just waiting for the real basses but he didnt release them. More !!!
