Locked threads
Help neededHi ZARk,
when you update a locked thread it updates the last post date and shows up on top of the rankings (on the homepage and on the Forum overview).
From our point of view, nothing is updated though.
Would it be possible to make sure the "last post date" is not updated after a thread is locked. Or change the ordering of the rankings (and don't include locked threads anymore). Or something like that if you know what I mean.
But first make sure you pass your exams.

Yeah well that new songs thread is locked to get it on top of the list , me , ZARk and some other moderators can change the lock status , so when we unlock, lock it it gets again on top of the list to draw the attention ;) so people read it and don't make new post of every song they post in the muzik section :)
so yeah it ain't updated ... that date thing is bit strange than etc, but if ya see 3 posts next to it everytime you know it ain't updated :)
and i'm sure ZARk will work something out after his exams to make things easier for sticky posts etc. but I think we must give the man a break once & a while , he's like workin' all the time :)

Suggestion: Try manually updating the "last update date" to a date in the future (like 01/01/10).
It should last for a while and you don't have to unlock/lock it 10 times a day.

Yeah but don't worry ZARk knows how to do it, again after his exams he'll make something to make a thread sticky and stay on top ;) it's all a matter of time , electrobel is still evolving a lot :)

but as said, the lock/unlock thing is just an 'exploit' of a bug in my script :) basically 'cos i don't have time to go into the code right now :) exams finish on wednesday ... so i'll try to do a max. in a min. of time :) bare in mind i still have a 4figure computer project to finish too, so i'll try to do important stuff first ;)
