New Contest?

OMH, more than 30 songs on the previous contest, about 20 users felt like having some competition. With the crescent number of users it could be a good platform for them to step out of the shade.
Can't anyone make a short animation movie ( -4 minutes) so the contest could be to create a 'soundtrack' for it?
It's a left-over idea from the previous brainstorm for contest-ideas.
With holidays in sight my fingers itch to jump into the next adventure.
All other and new ideas are welcome. And it's not because i start this thread that i'm hosting it. Anyone?
edit for the latecomers....: Rabauw will be hosting the new contest... it consists of making the score of a short-movie, yet to be chosen... pour les francophones: bientôt nouveau concours où l'on doit composer une musique pour un court-métrage (qui n'a pas encore été choisi). + d'info bientôt par Rabauw qui va régler le concours.

well, after my big harddrive-restore, i'm gonna start that planetary spacestation soundtrack hopefully next week... u needed it at the end of april... maybe if there's more people interested in this...
yeps... the idea has changed a little recently and the interplanetary aspect might be less prominent. It's still an airport with announcements and people sitting and walking around... but not necessarily with extraplanetar destinations... (if that still suits you)
A soundtrack is a great idea! Announce it early enough and I'm in for sure!
Another idea: songs made with not more than free vsti's/vst's excluding the use of samples. Only the host can be anything (offcourse) but the sounds/plugins of the host can't be used.
yeah It's a good idea... we can ask people who make animation movies(schools and other..) to colaborate with us !?? A link audio and video is very interessant and it can be a good experimentation :))

does anybody know someone who makes animated (short)movies?
personally i'd like to use all features of my "homestudio" for this contest. We allready had 2 contests with severe restrictions that gave us grey hair...
Total freedom now but with one goal. Please the crowd with the best fitting soundtrack (could be any genre ofcourse)

:( well, it's a little disappointing because i happen to have a lot of samplez that are very spacy like taking off spacecraftz etc.
what u need now is more like a recording of the atmosphere in zaventem or bxl midi... and i unfortunatly don't have the gear to do an outside recording (which is a shame, i know...)
but no probz, i still might try and i believe i have some library samplez of crowded places somewhere which i can add to the space station... 8)

To Kaoz... Sorry to say so, make your music anyway (a song with alien-sounds is quite amusing as well for ebel... The version for the project on school should use less of those lelements or at least not dominant i the song. So make it full version and i use the demi-écremé version. Can you live with that?
Rapid posting here. I hardly can keep up :)
I'm in for the soundtrack-idea though. Would be interesting. I'm not saying I would actually participate, but at least I'd give it a shot to compose something worthy of a contest :) (a lot would depend on the type of movie of course)
