Hello electro people , We got a damn problem with our music production...and we searched amongst all kinda websites to find a solution for it but never found something: We would like to synchronize our Fruity Loops 8 daw's, to be able to peform together and to split up the mix, like one only performing the rymthmical part (drum, percussion, fx) and the other one could take care of the melody / arpeggio's & pads. Is it possible to do so or not? do we need an extra device? Iv'e got an Mpk 49 synced to my daw that has got midi clock out i think, maybe possible? If you know something in that direction I'd be pleased if you post it. Xav

I really don't know but I think you have to do that in rewire, a kinda plug-in from fl I guess that syncs to reason, ableton and fl. how this works, I know even less.

rewire is only if you work with 2 DAW's on the same computer. if you want to sync it on 2 different computers and have the transportcontrols on one of them (master-slave) you can use these programs: http://www.musiclab.com/products/rpl_info.htm or http://www.fx-max.com/fxt/

i don't know for fruity, but i know that the master/slave-mode is built in in programs like ableton, cubase, protools,... mind that if you want sample-accurate syncing, you need to have a digital connection between the machines (SPDIF, AES/EBU, SMPTE, ADAT, ... ) and set the master's clock to internal while the slave's clock is external (+ specify from wich source)
