Au final tu te fait de la pub pour toi Aucune info sur les artistes a part ton pseudo (compiled by zooz) et le lien vers ton site

Bref c pas finalisé pour moi ... Dommage

indeed, when i chek the artists.... but if i read between the lines, it means there's the best free music on electrobel... :D Im not shure, but i think u can make a compil without the artist authorization, but if u make money with the compil, be ready to see the judge :)

I think a lill link to electrobel wouldnt hurt since its 75% of electrobel artistz...

Good luck with the judge thing :) Sigh Here we go again.

Ok, the dude didn't use the names or a link to electrobel, but what he did to promote his own name is, unfortunately, totally valid.

It's not clean, certainly, but you are posting your work on a creative commons website...And even if he'd sell his compilation, I doubt he'd have any trouble shrug. Read the wikipedia entry and do some background research to find out all possibilities. If you don't want this kind of thing to happen, don't post tracks here, simple :)

----> RERSPECT, thats why i like CreativeCommons But i rememebr i ve red on the CC page that NOBODY can make some money on your music without your authorization. Yes, we can send someone in front of a judge with CC, well at least i hope... i hope this CC thing protect us a lill bit

And with whom, exactly do you have a written contract to 'officially' (in a judge's terms) fall under CC? CC isn't aware of you (unless you manually registered with them, in itself, or Zark sends them a forward of every new user), posting your songs on electrobel online is NOT signing something under CC just because this website states it is so, and as far as I know atm electrobel still is not an ASBL/VZW so until that moment is has no legal value whatsoever ('Feitelijke' vereniging is what it's called in Dutch, which basically means: You are for yourself an organisation, but nothing is on paper (yet) or official for our laws).

Seriously, you'd have very very little ground to stand on. I've been over this before haven't I? It's really a delicate ground once you start talking about laws (especially since they're international).

Once again, I stated this before: I know an online free game where you could make a music star. In the beginning you could link mp3's to the songs you created stating they should have been under CC license. The computer game got complaints filed officially and now all mp3's are offline, by law (the game is still allowed to exist). no-one was making money there either; The artists had a chance to link their work for free to a dedicated crowd, but alas....a judge said...etc.

hey,

i don't make any money with the compil ! and i 've the authorization of all artists except 2! The links to electrobel are on the website...check it better...it's not on the cover, it's true, but why more electrobel than keopz, or myspace... 80% of the songs doesn't come from electrobel, only 50% :) but i'm not sure that the songs were originnaly post here...
