Breaxity is a 2-man co-op on urgent.fm, now steadily rolling into its 3rd year of mayhem. We promote & play all kinds of breakbeat-based music, ranging from dubstep to breakcore & everything inbetween, sometimes even beyond

The hosts are dj 319, who takes on the dubstep/grime/b-breaks & myself playing stuff ranging from oldschool jungle to breakcore. Besides abusing the decks ourselves we invite as much artists/dj's as we can, so that almost every week you get a set by one or more local artists or artists passing by while touring the area.

Tune in every tuesday 00 'till 02 gmt+1

Shows are recorded (almost) every single time and upped for your listening pleasure :-) I'll be updating the links weekly, and to get you started i'm give you some earcandy from past shows.

Tonight dj Cann (Humans at night) is coming over to the studio to hijack our wheels of steel, giving us a taste of what's to come this friday @ the Visa room of Club Decadance.

About dj Cann:

Cann grew up in a small town in the west of Belgium. He was interested in music from a young age and at the age of 12 years he started dubbing his first tapes. At the age of 14 he got a guitar from his dad, for which he then had to work to pay it back. With that guitar he started a couple of bands, or played along with a Casio synthesizer borrowed from a friend. Then, something happened what whould change his life forever. He was getting more and more in contact with Electronic music. Future Sound Of London 'Lifeforms' and Aphex Twin 'Selected Ambient Works I&II' became works he frequently played, but also mixtapes from various clubs and DJ's in Belgium and abroad. With the upmarch of Techno in mid 90's he did a student job in a industrial textile fabric and bought a pair of second hand Technics SL-1200 MKII. In 1997 he started to organise small parties at his parents attic, where he and his friends spinned their music for other friends. After that he moved to other locations, including cafés, clubs and even a castle. This was all done under his Crazie Eddie Productions organisation. Between 2000 and 2004 he took a break as organiser and DJ. He still remained to collect records passionately though and ocasionally spinned at a party. It wasn't untill begin 2005 he made his first cdr mix again and picked up the active DJ'ing again. Here are a few artists Cann played alongside: Subhead (UK) Justin Berkovi (UK) Current Value (GER) Twinhooker (US) Paulie Walnuts (US) Eye-D (NL) DJ Hidden (NL) Submerged (US), R.A.W. (US), DJ C (US), Debaser (CAN), Tester (US) Sickboy (BE) X&Trick (BE). Besides DJ'ing he loves to make graphic designs for various party organisations including his own. In 2006 he founded Humans At Night.

This week we didn't have dj319 aboard, he got struck by a fever and obviously couldn't make it. We kicked ot off with a brand new djmix by Bong-Ra called "Ra is for rave, E is for Ebenezer!" out now with Violent Turd, in wich he proves he hasn't lost his appetite for olschool rave. It doesn't come with a tracklist, but i'm sure you wont be needing it since its packed with classics. The second part of the show featured Hecticcc, who went on a techstep trip until the end of the show.

In this week's episode Raw aka B-Boy 3000 (usa) came over to do his dubstep thang, treating us on a trip through the USA side of dubstep. Lots of fresh tunes with a big bass load - crank up those woofers & make the roof come down!

More B-boy 3000 info here: http://www.discogs.com/artist/B-Boy+3000 http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=20007421

The second part of the show was on account of Hecticcc, who dug up some classic techstep that makes you wanna rave all night!
