turning windows sound off
Help neededhey guys, how do i turn those anoying windows sounds off if i want to use my laptop for playing song on a party.. And how about the sounds of other programs...

It really depends of the program you uses but it is possible to only send out your program stream out. Another way if you're using external device is to send out your music to this one and send the basic audio stream (such as windows sound) to your speakers that are muted (but thats not a professional method, really).
windows (7) : control panel, (System) Sounds, Schema : set 2 none then u will have no sytem sounds, e.g. when clicking a link or maximising a window ...
