The Symbole of the Festival

African symbol of reconciliation, peacemaking and pacification

Mpatapo represents the bond or knot that binds parties in a dispute to

a peaceful, harmonious reconciliation. It is a symbol of peacemaking

after strife. **

The Story

Our gathering has become within the years a meeting place for people of

different backgrounds with an open mind in the worldmovements of today

society.

With Rhakti Dei we want to create a fusion of people, music and art in

an ultimate enviroment of nature, space and freedom. Where different

individues from varied tribes can melt there energys, powers and idees

with nature in a sensitive and sustainable way. We want to make a world

that brings each invidue closer to the basics of mankind for 3 days

where they can open their mind without any frontiers.

This year we have chosen the symbols from the hindu culture to

represent our two stages : SHAKTI and SHIVA to bring you the energy on

your way to parvati. **

Shiva Stage

The SHIVA STAGE is the main stage of our gathering. The dancefloor is a

green grass plain, with a view on the old manor. On the dancefloor you

can also see the forest and the lake. A special feature will be the

windmills as background. The Rhakti Deï gathering aims to provide a

full experience through visual and auditive artforms.

The opening of the festival will be friday by EMPUSAE and saterday by

JUNO REACTOR with a special fireshow demonstrated by the magical

SAHARA, she offers you a rhytmic mix of tapdancing, firepois and

percussion.

The sound of the Shiva Temple will guide you on a journey through the

old sound of Goatrance into the newer Psytrance productions. We strive

to offer a varied line-up with influences from all of the facets of

this musicstyle. You will meet new talented artists as well as

experienced pioneers of our scene. There will be artists playing

full-on, dark, melodic and progressive psytrance music from all over

the world!

Visually, there will be the premiere of BOEMAN, one of the Belgian

artists that will create a threedimensional bambootemple of 32 m2, it's

for the first time in Belgium that he will make a construction of this

size.

The artwork of CISSE, also one of our Belgian decoraters, contains

sculptures that give the impression of wooden gnarls, with special

features of animalliked creatures from another dimension. The wooden

sculptures of CISSE have a special effect to glow in the dark, they are

all 100% natural.

Shakti Stage

This year, we would like to welcome you to a festival that is more than

just psytrance music. The SHAKTI STAGE is a decorated atmosphere where

we will create a pirate world with a sandy beach, ambient, dub and

gypsy music.

In the pirate bay you can also enjoy movies and in the day we will let artists performe with words & arts.

There will be lectures (workshops) about Martial Arts, Meditation,

Natural Healing, and other foreign or alternative cultures. As an event

where people can meet, we have learned that we also have an important

cultural and educational function.

If you wish to performe with juggling, devilstick, poi or other wicked

stuff, this is the spot where you can show or share your art and

experience with other people. Bring your instruments and enjoy the

spontanious vibez of jamming together!!!

In this village we want to give you the opportunity to relax and

communicate with others that are exploring the world of visual and

auditive perception. There will be a cocktailbar and foodstalls with

pancakes, irish coffees, chaithee and many many more....The psychedelic

movement today is more than just some psytrance vibes, it is and

remains a lifestyle. Which we will make you feel as if you were in a

sofa dream.
