aloha looking for a programme that allows me to transcribe a wav file to midi i've tried amazing midi but the result is kinda ifish can't get timidity to work

  • the digital ear demo only transcribes very short wav files if anyone can recommend something i'd be much obliged cheers

As far is I've read about this topic, there is really no good software to do this!

Indeed... You'll have to use your ears mate, and transcribe it manually... :) Like in them good 'oll days ;)

agree with the above. you could try melodyne. it is of course much more then a wav to midi program. it is a complete sequencer, when you record audio it claims to detect pitch aswell. haven't tried it myself but basically i don't trust it.

melodyne works really good.

already tryed it on vocal tracks.
