electrobel v2
General discussionAs some of you might know, electrobel v2 is in the making ....
basically a big site re-design with remade features, things more adapted to what electrobel has settled to be, more than what electrobel was thought to become ...
Better usuability etc... Appearance of "Electrobel and Electrobel-School" (basically, a more moderated electrobel and the ICZ will have it's own smaller website so that it will have more attention) New server which will be located in belgium ! (Also, if you are looking for 'pro' hosting, or know someone looking, then PM me .. )
Anyhow ... here is where YOU come in ...
What new feature or what would you like to see differently ?
All ideas are welcome

nice!! i'll probably sound like a cunt but i dont care. i would like to see a separation in the electro section, an "electroclash" or "italo-disco" section more. why? because most of the time (there is exceptions) i hear electro tunes on here with a big clashy edge and 4/4 beat, the sounds are usually far from the original idea of what electro is "supposed to be" (at least to me). so instead of the electro pop section, (wich would fit pretty well with the clashy tunes), i suggest to rename it to make the distinction between oldschool/detroit/miamibass/breaks/industrial electro trax and the others (techno, italo-disco, pop, trance). coz there's a huge difference on the atmosphere and general sound IMO

How about "sub-genres" ...
basically you'd put your track in "electroclash" (for example) but since that genre is actually a sub-genre it would appear in Electro also ...
ex :

Drum'n'Bass -- * Dark Step -- * Atmospheric -- * ....... etc....

Electro -- * Electroclash -- * Electropop -- * .etc....
so when browsing, if you click on ELECTRO you will see all the songs appear, and if you click on Electropop you will only see the electropop songs ...
also a function allowing to resend an email to people like me who forget their password... still happened with my first account :/

yes exactly! i think each genre has enough styles in itself to allow such a classification! and a strong moderation
Not a bad idea , but I think that a blank space for write "soi meme" the kind of the track will be better :)...

maybe something like random song would be cool? something that would bring older songs or thing of genres you don't usually listen to under attention again... don't know how hard that would be to do... but i'm sure it will be an awsome site with such dedicated people at the controles!

top right corner : PLAYLIST .. then ADD RANDOM SONGS

Yeah, the random track would be nice!
Perhaps you could organise a weekly feature where an e-bel member chooses his (her?) top 5 (or 10) from the tracks, with some explanation and babble..? Or some other means for digging up older tracks from the e-bel vault.
