Good Micro for Voice

hello brambi ! i use shure sm 58 and akg c 900 + 2 cheap micros for voice experimentals ! the shure sm 58 is the famoust of all for life voice ! also not expensive anymore ! around 100 euro

industry standard for vocals....

i use AKG d-880 , it's ok, but not great, and for sampling it's not very good.... it all depends on what you want to record, but if you want a word of advice, look for a different micro for sampling, or go for a mobile recording device

zoom sells pretty cheap ones and the internal mic is not bad at all zoom is a budget - line brand, some people will laugh when they hear the name, but for that kinda thing they are not bad at all....

but for vocal mic, go for the sm58  .....

only 98 € on my favourite site  looks like we have a winner... think I'll wait a lill'bit with the headphones though...  or the misses will not be amused :D :D

what is your budjet...?? sm58 is indeed the classic mic  but its a "cheap" one and there are exactly the same mics but not Shure for half price, with the same components, soif u plan to buy a sm58 because its cheap, i suggest you to buy another one for the sazme price you ll have double qulity. Chek the frequency response of the mic

Chek the frequency response of the mic hmmm care to elaborate?  But I think the SM58 will be good enough since the quality of the recording has to be OK not superb, since I'll fuck up the recordings with filters/vocoders whatsoever until you can't recognize my voice anymore... :) 

the sm will do just fine mate... it's when you want to record live drums, etc, that its best to avoid cheap micro's.....

certainly when u want to mash it up, don't worry about it too much....

superb piece of gear.... bought one on ebay 2 years ago, and didn't regret it for a second....

someone i know uses 2, linked to eachother, now that's pure madness what u can do with that.....

i use one, and link it to my distortion pedal, allways fun ^^ 

Neumann U48 but you need money ^^ if you work in studio

Sm58 is more for live session.
