1/ what is the make/model of the midi interface 2/ operating system on your machine (Windows XP, Mac, ... ) 3/ when you mean synchronize, you mean send midi clock ? 4/ what crashes ? the driver ? windows? cubase ?

what do u mean by the korg or roland in cubase? are u talking about softsynthz vsti'z? or are they hardware synthz connected to that usb midiport?

i'm suprized u don't have problemz with cubase & fruity... i've always had problemz with that... only used fruity v2>v4 and gave it up long time ago...

make sure to check this: in the menu *transport *u will find sync setup, there u'll see send midi time clock & send midi clock, u should be able to put a blue cross before that usb-device in the list. also check devices, device setup, VST multitrack, and switch your *asio-driver * to your soundcard driver. mostly it is set to a multimedia-driver which is not the best driver and could cause the crashing...

personally, i don't have much experience with usb-midi, always had midiportz on my soundcard...

did you install the service pack 1 for windowz so u have usb2??? not sure if that could cause the problem...

this is a supposition ...

maybe what is happening is that the signal is looping ?

don't see any other reason why it would crash :s

yeah, and check if you got the service pack 2 installed, cause there are a few updates for that usb2-driver-thingie.

also, did you check the fact that you might need an installation of your USB-machine? and if there is (and there usually is) a little application that you can run to route your signals. well, you would have to make sure that you start that application AFTER you launched Cubase ...
