reason question

As far as I know, portability between systems in the same version should work, and opening a reason file with a newer version works (tested it with reason 1/2/2.5 -> 3). So I assume opening with the next version on another system would work. The only issues you may encounter are about file paths for your samples... but reason is not very picky about that, just specify the new path and it works.

reason 4 is really out now??? i know the beta version is available since afew weeks but the whole 4 is 'buyable' ???  ^^

reason 4 is the worst program ever, don't buy it or download it or steal it... the sequencer is failed, the thor have a shitty sound... adios propellerheads...

What's so bad about the new sequencer then?

Reason 3 had only one advantage : a fast sequencer, very easy to write automation, very rapid to have good stuff and to improvise, or create a supa beat in ten minutes between 2 meals.

Now... Reason 4 is like Cubase : you must draw point to make effect, create a range and ajust it before write notes.... so... it's more slower to write, reason has lost his only advantage compared to cubase or reaktor.

im not going to use reason for new songs, i just need it to finish some old ones.
