BANKIZZ CONTEST 2007

The BKZcontest will take place until 20th December 2007. The composed tracks will be presented to a jury and have to be sent before this date. You must only use BANKIZZ SOUNDBANK’s free samples [BKZ SOUNDBANK D&B PART ONE] (Do not use VsT instruments or other samples, but you can use so much softwares or VsT effects that you want) Even if the soundbank is more centered on drum&bass, the contest is open to every electronic music styles. The jury will be made up of all activists penguins from BaNkizZ (Artists and orga) Independently of BKZ Contest, the penguins ‘composers will play the game in the same time than you and following the same rules. With a particularly difference that the jury will be built up of all internet users who want to participate. When the winner will be elected, the composed tracks of BaNkizZ’artists will be available on the web and will wait your vote.
The 1st price : the winner will get free entrances for 1 year in the BaNkizZ’ events. Over and above the winner will be able to make a dj set or a live act during a party of BaNkizZ, especially organized for it in 2008.
The 2nd Price : a free cd of BaNkizZ BKZCD01, over and above the winner will be able to make a dj set or a live act during a party of BaNkizZ, especially organized for it in 2008.
The 3rd Price : a free cd of BaNkizZ BKZCD01.

"Do not use VsT instruments or other samples" ... what about non-vst software instruments and real instruments?
hehe,like the B S-samples-only idea...and how many tracks can we put in? Ow,and is there gonna be a B.S.contest Category? to put the tracks in.
the usage of the sound bank and nothing but the soundbank oviously does set up some limitations, notheless i'm in, furthermore iv'e already started on a track using the soundbank,the amens sounds quite crisp and with enough punch on the kick.......and funny vocals from old series like startrek and starwars.

yup... with the advance of technology these days the sounds you start from become less and less important... i would consider the lack of limitaions a bigger creativity killer then the limitaions themselves ^^ i'll try to enter this contest

i supose your right , i'm starting to notice that, but say ICT, what are these synthy morphing vst fx your talkin' bout, you caught my undivided attention now , haven't come across those kinds vst's before
