EventsFRIDAY 20 JUNI 2003 RED - ROOM IS BACK!
Red - Room presents 3 Level
For the next RR party, we will expand the usual 2 room party into a full blown 3 room electronic music festival. The main hall will offcourse be Drum'n'Bass - where we expect some strong performances by the likes of Dice, Dln and karbonkid aka the bambu crew, D-Convict will represent our dmd proud and 4K & Temper (our friends of area51) will close the main hall.
The second room - upstairs will bring various flavours of techno & breakz. Cell & Tiresz will open with some deep & trippin' techno - followed by the funky breakz by Norman Bates. Kemiko Surimi will close the second room with some edge pushing techno for the fans.
Our last room will be outside - and will bring you some of the best things that house music has to offer. From the deep house sounds of El Tigro and Malkowiak through the african rythms of Electrophonk to the soulfull & disco influenced house of Belgian's legend Olivier Abbeloos.
The location will once again be JH Zenith in Dendermonde, fortified by festival alike fences & funked up as usual.

It's great you can put something together as a JH. It's a shame I live too far otherwise I'd drop by :D Really a super initiative... too bad our JH is too small for such an event. :(
For those interested, originally, we weren't part of the JH. We where looking for a place to throw a part - but there aren't any good places in our neighberhood. So we went to check out the JH because we played there a couple of times - but they where having a lot of financial problems at the time. We decided to give the earnings of Red Room to the JH, in order to help them survive. For the last few months we have been helping them a lot - and now there finally is a light at the end of the tunnel.

No problem - you can also bring posters as there will be plenty of space to hang those.

Anywayz, i couldn't go far with a broken window ... went to the cops, blablabla ... Was heading for home, then i remembered the Apocalypse party was close by, so i let some of my steam off in there ...

We had a blast - 550 peepz, a lot of weird drunken people celebrating the end of their exams and things like that - but all in a good mood (we never had a single incident or fight at the 11 party's we've thrown so far :) ). The cops came - but it was to close the outdoor area because they got too many complaints (I understand it a bit - & they only did their job, but still a shame because it was very nice there).
