Draping ?? do u respect the security of the listeners with that ? U could have serious problems of fire if draping are not "inifugé". be ware !!
Meh, drapings have to be fire-proof before using them at an event. It's costly, but it's in the law for events now. If they'd get any kind of control and there would be 'home made' drapings ******'s permit could get in problems, and the owner has experience it seemed to me, so...
it's in the law for events now. if u hav a control of fire by the firemans u can close u scene and if u hav fire u can have serious prob with justice :( don't laught with that. I hope u will fire-proof drap because this is expensive to make.

how do you do that? dip 'em in alcohol? :p
Actually the official control services DO light them to test; I had them do it to one of my banners at a festival. Bit of a tricky way of testing but alas... ;)

so what do I need?
some ultra-expensive anti-fire dip they only sell in special government stores?
Well, if you have banners made, they have the coat, obviously, since otherwise you couldn't use them anywhere public.
But handmade banners or anything, how to coat them, that's a good question. I suppose you can make them fireproof with a variety of coats available in the usual 'bricoleur' shops but they could Matt/glossy the artwork or even damage it. Maybe inquire in one of them?
Jemefish, give it up, this is a goa-scene party. Like they care about being legal :))... Nothing against goaparties offcourse but doing it legal is just hardly an option ;)
(remember the party with the great pile of sandlike metals? It was 'koper' dunno the translation, the cigarettes tasted sweet (litterally and lots of people came out with a headache...afterwards it turned out there were signs that you had to wear a mask in that area. it's all possible in goaland)
