I was looking for a way to make some vocals that sound like the ones in Das Boot by Kraftwerk, and i found one :-)
All you need is a amiga emulator and the program stspeech.tos
Unzip Steem in a folder somewhere, and add one or more folders in that dir, those will be the "harddrives". Drop the stspeech.tos file in one of these folders. When the emulator asks you wich folders to use the 1st time it runs select those dir's.
Once Steem is running simply doubleclick on the harddrive icon & then on the stspeech app, et voila, everything you type comes out ala Kraftwerk. In the options of Steem you can set it up to record everything you do to a .wav file aswell :)
here's an example:

Have fun :D
waah cool... I'll use it on my Das Boot Remix
... just a lil detail... the song is by U96 not by Kraftwerk ;)
would be cool if you repost this on the websites section of the yellow pages in the library!
;)
Now, as an old bloke, I am sooo CONTRA Amiga! I was a Commodore 64 freak myself, so it is only normal to point out that you can also use a C64 emulator of choice, and search for the SAM RECITER proggie.
Does the same, but our Commodore-conscience is clean :D
Nice find BTW hehe...

i was a c64 user as well, way back then...
i even bought one again on a flea market a few years back, but it's broke now... :-(

There was never a problem, only a friendly feud just like the PC-MAC people nowadays, always dissing each other for having bought the wrong computer :)) :D

problem, i extract steem, create some folders, put stspeech in one of them i run steem, it asks the folder, i open it, and the tos file doesn't display i then select all files, i see and click the tos file, and my pc says, it's not a valid tos file... :-(
