I just thought it might be of interest to some people ou there, so I wrote those few lines...

this is not redbook standard. SACD has the DTS system ... i think there's a confusion on the support ..

SACD is reverse compatible .. meaning a SACD plays in a normal cd-player, but only has the 'stereo'.

Well, I dowlonaded one file to get the solution to this, and burned it to a regular CD.

The record I'm talinkg qbout is "Sting - Nothing like the sun".

I've put it in my Dvd player with digital out function on, and I was pleased to hear that the sound is indeed in DTS. I have the original CD, and it plays much better in DTS, means 5.1 channels. I just logged in at Amazon.com and they do have DTS CDs available. no need for a sa-cd player, just regular and a DTS decoder and voilà...
