SYNCHRO DELAY

to synchro a delay it's easy....or flange, or chorus...... ex:60/146(tempo)= 0.410958 ==> 0.411

there used to be a audio bpm detector that changes the signal to midi clock from redsound, but that company doesn't exist anymore.

or you can use a midi clock signal to sync you delay using midi. in that case you can use any midi effects processor.  

you probably want it to use it when you play with mik, so you can sync it with the laptop using midi clock.

Ah, erm I jsut wanted to point out to the KaossPad3... but I think when you put it onto Mic-Input it doesn't listen to the line input any more... because it has that handy autobpm-future... and lots of delays... but i dont' know for sure if it works.. have to try that, but i have no time right now...

what u could do is indeed synchronise to mik's ableton with a midi-cable. u could use a laptop or so with ableton as a virtual efx-box. if you want to sychornise to an audio-signal, you have this litle toy: http://www.redsound.com/products/soundbitemicro  it sends midi-clock to, for example, ableton. hope this helps 

thanks guys !!  well with Mik its already done since a while, but i use FX from ableton and i dlike to have a synchro delay controller for everybody i play with, somethin more sensitive, and other fx ... i hope this kaospad can do the trick im gonna have a look... Any other idea is welcome

Otherwise, I know that the Pioneer EFX500 (and hopefully 1000) has a midi-in sync capability, and then you just have to press a button to choose your sync multuiplier... for example 3/4, 1/2, 2/1, 16/1...

Never personally tested the midi functions of the EFX, by the way, but if that works then you could put it between your mic preamp and your mixer in... 

Both the koass pad and the efx 500 should do what you want. both can be synced to midi and have bpm detection on the input sounds.

I have an efx500 and I like it. It doesn't have that many effects, but it's very tweakable. The kaoss pad has much more controls, but you can only tweak them using the pad (so you have less controls per patch, the control is not as 'fine', but arguably more fun)

They can be bought for roughly the same price. If you shop around you should be able to get hold of a koass pad for less than 200 euro second hand (a friend of mine uses it as a guitar effect)
