sorry for hijacking your thread MDeMma... Is that nocturne compatible with FLStudio? I've been looking to it too and it looks nice!
i find the nocturn easier to use in FL studio then in cubase, so if you are working with FL, i would ABSOLUTLY recommend it to you. 8 assignable parameters, 8 assignable switch knobs and a crossfader...

yes, it's very easy to use, automap shows all the parameters of your vst, and ofcourse allows you to link it manually too. you can create templates, you can save them, and one of the great advantages in FL is the fact that you can link knobs of your sequencer as well (e.g., if you want to link something from your mixer, it is piece of cake in FL, while i stil don't know how to do it in cubase.) the automap function also allows you to save 128 MIDI cc's, spread over 10 pages or something. on each page you can assign the knobs to a different parameter, so e.g. on page 1 your first parameter is your filtercutoff, when you press on page + it goes to the next page where you can give the same parameter instead of filtercutoff something like dry/wet for yout reverb. you have countless parameters to tweak, with only 8 knobs before you...

maybe i'll own a novation supernova II soon too...
remote sl zero ... looks f*cking great. so much knobs to link, with those little screens... i wanted to buy one too, but unfortunaly my budget only allowed the nocturn. i'm happy with it nonetheless, but the Sl zero seems the perfect tweakin' midi device.
to get back to your question. Automap universal works fine... but not with every version of every software. But then classic automapping still works fine! :) only thing you have to do is to push the remote button when you select a new device you want to control with your novation.* In "universal automap" you only need to select the device with a mouseclick when you play it. and finally as for every midicontroller in the world you can attribute each poti and fader just as you like.
One suggestion: For NOVATION... you really need to read the manual!! (!!!!!!)
AH YEAH... one more thing... Novation controllers are sooooooo beautiful. Especially the Nocturne!
