Hi guys,

I'm breaking my head over this mono guy. It was bad enough that he posts his myspace link in every post he makes on the forum. And it's bad enough that he creates useless new topics without any decent content just to promote himself...

But as DNB moderator I've noticed that he has now started with reuploading his songs, without adding new content. In other words, what he does is uberpromoting himself by reuploading so he would be first in the list. This week I was about 15 new mono tracks get uploaded (all at the same time) and a lot of songs I had heard before and his discriptions hadden't changed. Imo this is abusing ebel...

We never had such a whore over here before (that I know of) so what to do?

ps: all mods, plz do not validate monosongs, till we know what we do

The mail I have sent:

** Hi there mono,

I've noticed you have reuploaded some songs on electrobel. But, as dnb-moderator, I have not yet authorised them. It seems you have reuploaded those tracks without edditing their content. This would mean you have re-uploaded them without any good reason... (besides getting back on top in the music section).

I've been over this with my fellow moderators, and this is not the perpose of electrobel.

We could make an exeption and authorise these tunes just for once. But only if the other tracks you upload in the future will be: A) a completely new song B) old songs which you have changed (new drums or new bass, or maybe other chords and notes....)

This way the flow of creativity on electrobel can be preserved.

I hope you untherstand If you don't agrea and reupload existing songs without any thing new inside, we will have to take drastic measers, which could lead to deleting your account.

Take care, Greets CruizeOfFiction (dnb, jungle, drill 'n' bass moderator)

ps: If you edit a song, please mention it clearly in the songdiscription (what you have changed, why you changed it....)

**

haven't mentioned anything about spamming on the forum

That is (according to me) more a responsability of the forum moderators

greets to my fellow moderators, CruizeOfFiction

He claims he deletet all his tracks (becouse of some album or something) and now reuploaded them becouse they are not all going to be on the album

kind of a dodgy explenation, if he releases an album he should now what songs are on it and only delete those instead of them all.

anyways, I warned him

cheers
