Okay, i've been toying around a bit with SynthEdit trying to get something out of it ...
all i managed getting are some subway noise simulators :D not quite what i want to achieve really :D
i know DarkQ toyed around with it ;)
anyone else managed doing anything with this ?
my mate Paebac done the first FreqDisturbance synth some weeks ago.. check it out @ http://paebac.nwdnb.co.uk/FD01Synth.rar
few years ago i coded som little softs on VisualBaisc and i thought SynthEdit would be very easy to use... ehhh absolutely not ! i understood nothing and i couldn't get any sound of it... well, i was disapointed.
yes, that's right... I made a VST-plugin or two with it. Check 'em out here if you're interested : http://home.pi.be/~vanromo1
I also programmed (C++) a few extra modules for synthedit using the very intuïtive SDK.

Maybe you need to learn something about modular synthesis... Synthedit reminds me alot of my Nord Micro Modular.

Wow, I didn't know they would spread so fast... I did have some correspondance with the creator of Synthedit, but I didn't expect a link on his web-site would have such an effect...

There are some good workshops about modular synthesis online at the Clavia website. The examples are made on a Nord Modular but they should apply for any modular (soft or hard) synth.
