you using FL 7 right? You should use the Fruity Param.Equalizer 2. put it in the fx chanel where (for example)your beat is , play your beat, an youll see in the Param.equalizer 2 window that the used frequencies are highlighted. Then you can boost up what is used as frequencies. Try it. Easy as pie. more left of the window = low freq.(basses) and more right= high freq.(high tones) I suggest you start with only using the far left and far right equalizing points and you will hear a big difference right away

thanks but that i already knew haha :d maybe can you help me with a other question : How can i cut certain frequencies For example : i got my bass and kick but theyre always in each other way how can i cut the frequecies where the overloop eachother and thats the same for my snare it always get pushed back by my kick

maybe if you here my songs youll know what i mean

one golden advice with eq...

try not to boost anything, it's much better to cut what you don't need than to boost what you do need....

for the rest, if you want to cut out the peak frequency of your kick out of your bassline and stuff like that, use a hig q-factor, as high as you can get, so that you only cut what you want to cut....

if you look at a graphical display of that, you will see that a high q-factor will narrow down the frequency range that is affected, a low q-factor will lead to a large frequency range being tweaked and you don't want that in this kind of eq-work...  for the peak freqs of seperate sounds, check the net, but remember that it is not the same for all bass kicks, snares,...

best is to use a frequency analiser

Sidechain your bass to your kick! it gives a good pumping effect.

for yr kick the two main freq are 50-65 hz ('umph') which is also the lowest bass sound one can hear and 1500-2000 hz which is the attack ('Kuh') Bass is between those frequencies and sometimes under the lowest as well. making a lil dip i yr bass around 60Hz in yr bassline can make yr kick stand out more.

vocals often sound nicer if you boost the first harmonic around 2000-3500 Hz

try to find the main frequency of the sound, the one that is most important to it by sweeping along the spectrum with a narrow band eq boost or cut and make sure other sounds don't use that part of the spectrum too much by cutting those frequencies there a bit
